Our work is built around the idea that experiences with arts and culture help us to be better citizens of our own neighborhood and the world at large.

  • The AEU Neighborhood Planning Committee plans free, monthly excursions. We’ve traveled throughout the city of Pittsburgh and beyond. The excursions are inclusive and open to anyone who wants to participate.
  • The Satellite Studio, located in Hazelwood, provides a place for us to gather and create together. Art opportunities are available weekly; visiting artists also join us here.
  • The United Hazelwood Design Team participates in beautification projects in the neighborhood.
